Mission: The mission of VA Toolkit is to be an one-stop resource center for virtual assistants – whether they’re still exploring, brand new, or have a bit of experience under their belt.

For beginning VA’s it is a place to go that has lays out all your options, and outlines clear steps to follow to create success in this field. For practicing VA’s it is a place to sharpen ones’ skill set, begin to think bigger about what you can accomplish, and share your hard-earned experience with the next set of virtual assistants.

What makes VA Toolkit different? We realize that in the sometimes overwhelming world of options available to new virtual assistants, knowing all your choices and making educated business decisions can be half the battle. So we strive not to sell you our latest product or training course, but simply make sure you know all the options you have available to you and get industry feedback from virtual assistants already using the service or training.

We are not just seeking to be another membership site or a message board but a community of VA’s that understand that collaboration rather than competition is the key to the growth and stability of the field. We want to share our bumps along the way to make the journey smoother for someone else.

Who is behind VA Toolkit? VA Toolkit is the brainchild of two Virtual Assistants already successful in their field – Rebecca Zwar and Kyra Hatter.

They met at a conference in California, and connected over both their shared experience as VAs, as well as the desire to help new and established VAs find their way to a successful business faster.

About Rebecca: Rebecca Zwar is a Marketing Tech Coach, and the owner and founder of Marketing Geeks Intl. She is passionate about the way the internet combines creative and technological possibilities for even the smallest of businesses to market themselves online. Marketing Geeks offers coaching and virtual assistance packages to help entrepreneurs create web-savvy marketing plans, and provide the tech-smarts to connect the “what to do” with the “how to do it”.

After 8 years in the property management field, Rebecca started her business in 2006, with a plan to focus on real estate virtual assistance. However, she quickly found most of her clients were more interested in help with figuring out their WordPress blogs and social media profiles than with day-to-day real estate support. She quickly found she absolutely loved the combination of creative and technical tasks in marketing businesses online and Marketing Geeks Intl. was born.

Rebecca has been featured in the print book The Business of Being Virtual, and has been a speaker at the 2009 IVAA conference, the Summer Speaker Series, and several other online telesummits, and a trainer at Hot Skills VA Training. She grew up in Chicago, but now lives on the shores of Lake Michigan in Michigan with her handsome husband and two gorgeous, brilliant children.

About Kyra: Kyra Hatter brings leadership, vision, experience, and specified knowledge to her VA firm, Virtually Ideal Executive Services, developed through years of full-service case management in law firms and large insurance companies. It was during her corporate years that she learned the theme that fuels Virtually Ideal’s services – “time spent on anything besides growing your business is money lost.”

Her main focus is to free business owners up to concentrate on growing their businesses by assuming responsibility of various administrative tasks. In addition, she uses creativity and her networking knack to help her clients stay informed of opportunities that will benefit them.

Kyra works with an awesome team of independent VA’s for large projects and clients needing specific skill sets. Together, they tackle even the most complex undertakings.

She currently lives in a Northern suburb of Atlanta, with her husband and two wonderful children.
